Q: How are cleanings priced?

A: Carpet and tile cleanings are priced per square foot, not by area. We only charge for what we actually clean. Our prices for upholstery and vehicle cleanings vary depending on size. Our goal is to give you the best clean possible at the lowest rate possible.

 

Q. Are there any hidden fees?

A. Prices are ALWAYS discussed before cleanings. Additional services or add-ons are NEVER done without your consent.  

 

Q. What comes included in a carpet cleaning?

A.  The price we charge includes our ‘process of elimination’ method on tough stains, which is a three step process that consists of:

  • An enzyme pre-spray before the cleaning to help break up soiled traffic areas and temporary stains.
  • Significant stains that do not come out during the cleaning process will be sprayed with daily citrus spotter, and cleaned again. Citrus spotter helps break up those more stubborn stains such as makeup, tar, grease, wax, gum, etc.
  • Anything that cannot be removed after that will be treated with Pro’s Choice Stain Magic. 

 

Q. Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

A. We only ask two things of you- to have a working power outlet available for us to use, and to make sure any necessary vacuuming is done prior to our arrival. If you are moving and have already packed your vacuum, no worries, we can take care of it for you at no extra charge.

 

Q. Do you move furniture?

A. If asked, yes, we can move most furniture to clean under it at your request. After the carpet has been cleaned we will place it back properly and protect it from the wet floor with furniture blocks or tabs. We try to avoid moving electronics, antiques, fragile furniture, or furniture heavier than 75 pounds to avoid any possible damage. 

 

Q. What kind of machine do you use?

A. We use a Bane-Clene® truck mounted system. The Bane-Clene® system carries its own water supply tank of 120 gallons of clean water, and a separate 120 gallon return tank for dirty water. The system does not run off of our van’s engine, so the only thing we require is a working power outlet during the time of the cleaning. This prevents any gas fumes or carbon monoxide filtering through your home during the cleaning process. Our water is set to 180 degrees to assure the highest quality cleaning we can give at the safest temperature for your flooring and upholstery. Our system is designed to prevent over-wetting and under-cleaning of carpets. 

 

Q. Do you use any harsh chemicals in your cleaning solution? 

A. Our products are from Bane Clene and are used world wide. The only time that any of the products could affect your health is if you consume them. Any worries about any cleaning chemical we clean with or we keep on board we have a MSDS also know as Material Safety Data Sheet

 

Q. Where does the dirty water go when you’re done cleaning?

A.  Our van is equipped with a separate storage tank for holding the dirty water after cleanings. This tank holds up to 120 gallons of water, so absolutely no dirty water will be emptied into your home or yard.

 

Q. Are all stains/grout lines guaranteed to come clean?

A. We wish we could promise that all stains will come out, but unfortunately some stains become permanent for different reasons (inferior cleaning methods and solutions, nature of stains, and/or type of flooring) We will let you know ahead of time if there is something we won’t be able to clean.

 

Q. How long does it take for carpet and upholstery to dry after a cleaning?

A. Drying varies depending on the type of material.

  • Nylon carpet usually takes about 6-8 hours.
  • Berber carpet should dry within 18 hours. 
  • Couches and mattresses should be allowed 2-4 hours to dry.

Setting your inside temperature between 72˚-78˚ will help increase drying time. 

 

Q. Are smells guaranteed?

A. Unfortunately smells are not guaranteed to come out. We do offer multiple options to help eliminate odors, but they could be coming from places other than what we are cleaning. 

 

Q. How often should I get my home cleaned?

A. It is generally recommended that you have high traffic areas professionally cleaned every 6-18 months, and the whole house cleaned yearly. However, several factors come in to play when determining if your floors are ready for cleaning such as children, pets, higher than normal traffic, smoking in your home, etc. If you have recently had new carpet installed, be sure to check the warranty for instructions regarding cleaning. Most carpet warranties recommend professional cleaning once a year, but warranties vary. 

 

Q. How can I protect my investment?

A. We offer post cleaning protection for carpet, upholstery, and grout lines upon your request. We offer Scotchgard services for carpet and upholstery, and grout line sealant to protect grout lines from staining. 

 

Q. What do I do if I’m not satisfied with the cleaning?

A. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you are unhappy. We understand spending your hard earned money on something you are not satisfied with is frustrating. It is possible for stains to reappear if they were not professionally tended to prior to our cleaning. We will always make you aware of that before hand. Furthermore, if we have guaranteed a specific spot or stain to come clean and it did not, we will return and try again at no additional cost to you. Your happiness is our number one goal!
